Construction Site Signage: What You Need on Site

A construction site needs clear signage at the entrance and around the work, under CDM 2015 and the Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996. Here is a practical starting set.

At the site entrance

A combined site safety board setting out the main rules: report to the site office, no unauthorised access, and the PPE required. Our Construction Site Safety Notice Board does this in one sign.

PPE and mandatory signs

Head, eye, ear, foot and hand protection where each is required. The PPE multi message sign or the PPE pack covers the common ones.

Hazard and prohibition signs

Warn of specific risks such as overhead loads and forklift traffic, and prohibit what must not happen. Browse warning signs and prohibition signs.

For outdoor boards choose aluminium composite or reflective so they last. See all sign packs and bundles to kit out a site in one order.

Shop the range: every sign is printed to order in the UK to BS EN ISO 7010, in six materials and seven sizes. Browse all signs or design your own.
